When it comes to choosing the right office space for your small business, we understand there’s lots to consider.
Our team members are happy to provide prospective new tenants with a tour of the building any time. And there are usually a series of most frequently asked questions asked before tenants are happy to make their decision. So, being the helpful bunch we are, we thought it would be useful to cover these points below.

We are spread across four floors. Our ground floor is home to our community reception space and two of our four meeting rooms.
Our first floor is where the Innovation Space staff are based. Alongside us, we have three offices as well as a mixture of full desk and hot desk members.
Floor two is home to our Nest Community. A start-up incubator exclusively for students and recent graduates of the University of Portsmouth.
Floor three is typically home to the majority of our full desk members with a few hot deskers working from there from time to time!
We have a bit of everything! From Graphic Designers to Data experts! Our list really does go on! We have a whole host of talent within our building covering a vast range of industries such as aerospace, technological/big data, social care, maintenance, teaching and that’s us barely scratching the surface. Not forgetting our whole host of student hot deskers as well! We encourage all types of businesses and people to join us!
We can get you moved in very quickly – if you work with us at getting your few bits of paperwork done we can turn things around very fast. Our personal best is one day!
We understand every penny counts, especially for start-ups. With this in mind, we do not charge a deposit. All we ask for is that your first months’ rent is paid as you join us. After this you are invoiced at the beginning of every month
Hot-deskers can use the space between 9am – 5pm Monday – Friday.
Yes! If you are on our full desk or office membership you can access the space at any time you want! However, as much as we love to have you here, we do encourage you to go home sometimes!
Absolutely! Chatting and collaborating are both key to enjoying yourself here. Whilst we encourage chatter, the space is never loud so you can choose to work quietly or chat here and there.
They are free! We offer all our members free use of our meeting rooms within the cost of their monthly membership! So there are no extra charges ever applied to use our extra spaces.
We have a kitchen area on each floor where you can use the fridge/microwave/cutlery etc.
We provide FREE hot drinks in our reception area for you and your clients/guests. You are also very welcome to bring in your own and leave them in the kitchens.
As an Innovation Space member you are able to apply for an NUS card which gives you HUGE discounts. We also provide free access to our extensive University Library as well as preferential rates at the University gym.
